You’re a waste of space. Stop badgering people just because YOU never became educated.

trist is right. it is an honorable job. teachers make all careers possible. can you imagine a world with no teachers? ‘i believe in the future, therefore i teach’ is another good quote

Trist. Please, are you a dumb man or merely a female?

tristramshandy3 a/k/a Frank has been teaching for 20 years and on his/its profile page it is only 21 years old.
Ah, right, about that Frank. Maybe you need to take a math class. Please tell me you are still in school & not teaching yet!

If an idiot could attain a college degree, how come you weren’t able to achieve that goal?
I am curious about why you hold such powerful views about things you CLEARLY do not understand. Is there more to it, or, seriously, are you just a typical xenophobic, ignorant American male?
What are you basing your assessment of teachers on? What schools have you been to?
Why am I actually trying to talk to you like you are a human being?

The problem with our public schools is that we have TOO MUCH respect for public school teachers. We pay them too much and therefore attract underachievers who seek the benefits of a government job with a college degree that an idiot could attain.

I love irony, especially when the product of staunch American anti-intellectualism has the gall to call someone stupid.
A real job? Like what? Outside of possibly doctor, there exists no profession on earth more honorable than teaching. Most of the rest of the industrialized world understands that- seems like only in the USA that teachers are constantly assaulted and disrespected.
Were you molested by a teacher? why this mindless, IDIOTIC hatred towards an honorable profession?
ColeLite · June 21, 2010 at 1:19 pm
You’re a typical, self-serving government employee who believes their own propaganda! What next comes: That you deserve more pay? Get a REAL job and see how hard one works for good pay and great benefits. One question tho: Are you a dumb man or merely a female?

excuse my french, but that’s a bullshit, self-defeating attitude. this country is facing an education CRISIS, and there exists no better opportunity today to serve your country than to devote your life to teaching our young kids critical thinking skills.
stop degrading an honorable, difficult profession…..and go spend some time at your local inner city school- you will see the REAL war on terror.
we could use your HELP rather than your apathy and cynicism.
have a good night.
