Honoring victims: Crime victim retells story at breakfast
Melissa Bench’s life is radically different today compared to seven years ago. She works at Windermere in the kitchen and doing odd jobs. She and her father remodeled the inside of her house, gutting the kitchen, ripping up the living room carpet and replacing all the fixtures in the bathroom. The change wasn’t because of a change of heart, but because of the bad memories and the blood stains.
