Question by Gabby J: If I like math, is there any other careers besides a teacher that i could do?
I’m pretty sure I want to be a math teacher. But I’m not 100% sure. I enjoy teaching others about math, but i am afraid that the job will get monotonous after a while. If i decide not to be a teacher, is there any other good careers to go into? Besides my love for math, I love talking to people and helping them with their problems. But I absolutely hate science and i don’t want to major in anything science related.
Any ideas?

You might like careers in business, marketing, or finance, including financial communications. There’s a lot of math in all these, but there’s also plenty of writing and broader thinking.
Take all the math you can in high school (if you are still there), and then in college, take a general business class, or marketing, or finance, as soon as you can, to see if you like it.
There are also a LOT of jobs using excel as part of routine. Not math genius, but fun kind of math.
Good luck!

Yes, you should be a tutor for Silvan there’s no stress and it’s actually kind of fun. If you want to work at a school you should work at a private school.

Accountant, of course for math–there are different kinds of them. You might think of being a CPA–Certified Public Accountant–because you would have to deal with people, etc.
What about a tax accountant? Auditor?
