If one trains as a secondary school teacher and, at some point, does supply teaching, can they be a supply in primary school or in secondary only?

Question by walsh_patr: Getting a High School Math Teacher job in MA..Is this year just an outlier?
I just earned my Preliminary License for High School and Middle School Math. I have no classroom experience (only tutoring) and I am not hearing back from any of the jobs I have applied for. It also seems that in general there are not many postings recently. I think I can chalk this up to the bad economy, but once the economy picks up I should be able to get a job in this field right? I was under the impression that these were generally high demand areas, though right now it sucks out here in the trenches.

Question by Tiny Tim: Why does my school have a supply teacher with CRAZY eyes?
My class 9J (WOOT GO US) had this supply teacher who had some really big eyes. They were almost constantly open and when they were open they were open REALLY wide! everyone in a class got a right laugh out of it and has done continuously since we had her take our class but i would quite like to know WHY she has huge eyes!? thanks!
