Teachers: Federal funds are crucial to saving jobs
Indiana’s teachers unions are banking on — and praying for — federal help to save jobs in Indiana’s schools. About 5,000 to 6,000 teaching jobs will disappear this year and next, said Nate Schnellenberger, president of the Indiana State Teachers Association.
